Nine West South Africa opened its first store in December 1999 in Sandton City, Johannesburg . This brand was well received by the South African female consumer.
To date Nine West has 12 stores across Southern Africa namely Eastgate, Cresta, Fourways Mall, Menlyn Mall, Brooklyn, Canal Walk, Cavendish Square, Tygervalley, V & A Waterfront, Gateway Shopping Mall and Riverside Mall.
In less than 30 years, Nine West has evolved to become a world-renowned fashion leader. Established in 1977, founded by Jerome Fisher and Vince Camuto as a women’s fashion footwear brand, the Nine West brand took its name from its founding address at 9 West 57th Street in New York City .
